SPQR goes through first thousand years of Rome’s history. It focuses heavily on period between 100 BC and 100 AD.

My opinion

This is good and quite entertaining history book, but it’s not as fascinating as I was expecting. Best part of it is how it pictures life of a Roman citizens.

People who really like Roman history.
