Life 3.0

Max Tegmark

How will Artificial Intelligence affect crime, war, justice, jobs, society and our very sense of being human? The rise of AI has the potential to transform our future more than any other technology—and there’s nobody better qualified or situated to explore that future than Max Tegmark, an MIT professor who’s helped mainstream research on how to keep AI beneficial.

My opinion

This non-fiction book starts with (very entertaining) fictional short story about birth of AI utopia. Then book goes through possible effects of AI in different areas of life. It sets multiple scenarios of what could happen and what is realistic. This is the most well informed and neutral book about future of AI I have read, by an author who’s has great authority in this field.

For who?

People who are interested in Artificial Intelligence and how it can effect our society.
