This is not a novel. It’s a script book for the theatre play of the same name written by J. K. Rowling, John Tiffany, and Jack Thorne. Events happen after the last actual Harry Potter novel and feature mostly Harry Potters son Albus Severus Potter.

My opinion

Since this is a script not a novel, it’s not so enjoyable to read. You won’t get same satisfaction as you get reading original novel series. Also the plot is bit silly and feels more like fan fiction, though it might work better on stage. Ending of the book is quite fun so that saves a lot and it’s still Harry Potter book so I’m ready to forgive a lot.

For who?

I would recommend this book for only die hard Harry Potter fans, like myself.
